HIV and Hepatitis, June
Henrique Barros

The annual infectious disease seminar at the University of Porto will focus on HIV and Hepatitis. Portuguese researchers and practitioners together with experts from other countries and international agencies will present the latest advances and challenges regarding these two infectious diseases and related issues. Epidemiology, research methods and future perspectives will be presented in a series of interactive sessions at the Institute of Public Health, Porto. Join us as as we debate, discuss and uncover why two preventable and treatable infections continue to be major public health issues in Europe, despite national and regional interventions and policies to prevent, treat and eventually eliminate them.
