Mariana Amorim

Graduated in Psychology since 2008 and Master in Clinical and Health Psychology since 2010.


She is currently a FCT PhD fellow at Doctoral Program in Global Public Health, University of Porto and Nova University of Lisbon, with a study about the quality of life of parents of very preterm infants. She is a member of the Department of Health and Society and the research group on Social Epidemiology at Institute of Public Health of University of Porto (ISPUP).


She was research fellow in the project "Parental Roles and Knowledge in Neonatal Intensive Care Units" in the same institution.

Her areas of interest are Quality of Life, Family Integrated Care, and Ethical and methodological challenges in mixed-methods couple based research.
