Paula Meireles is a PhD student in Public Health and since 2012 a research fellow at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto. She graduated in Clinical Analysis and Public Health at the School of Allied Health Sciences, Polytechnic Institute of Porto in 2007 and finished her master in Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto in 2015. Her main research interests are the epidemiology and determinants of HIV infection, viral hepatitis and other sexually transmitted infections among the most-at-risk populations, including men who have sex with men, people who use drugs, sex workers and migrants; and the prevention strategies and the acceptability of pre-exposure prophylaxis.
