Sandra Brochado has a degree in Educational Sciences from Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. In 2015 concluded her master in Health Education in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto. She worked as a research fellow in the project Violence in various stages of life: frequency, determinants and consequences of health (2012-2015) at Institute of Public Health of University of Porto. The work developed in research project as well as her master thesis resulted in (co) authored publications in international journals and oral presentations in international conferences.
Currently Sandra is research fellow in the project Screening to Improve Health in Very Preterm Infants in Europe – SHIPS”. She is member of the Department of Epidemiology and of the research group on Perinatal and Pediatric Epidemiology (EPIUnit) at Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto (ISPUP).
