Teresa Monjardino (ORCID ID: 0000-0003-4944-3366) as a degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences (2008) and a master in Public Health (2012) by the University of Porto. Currently she is member of the research group on Non Communicable Diseases Epidemiology (EPIUnit) as a PhD student under the supervision of Raquel Lucas. The main objective of the PhD project is to identify sensitive periods for the effect of weight and glucose metabolism on pediatric bone. Other current research interests include the study of the burden of musculoskeletal diseases in the population, the health of workers and food insecurity. She gives lectures to the post-graduate courses at the Medical School of Porto University and in the Nursing School in the University of Minho.
