Ana Henriques

Research - Integrated Members (PhD)

Ana Henriques obtained her Master degree in Psychology (Clinical and Health) with the thesis “Design, implementation and evaluation of an intervention program in a group of obese patients after placement of gastric band”. Between 2009 and 2010, she was a research fellow at the Department of Clinical Epidemiology, Predictive Medicine and Public Health when she gained field work experience in population-based cohorts.


She is a Doctor in Public Health since July 2015 when she finished her PhD thesis entitled "A biopsychosocial approach to the interrelation between reproduction and excessive weight in women"​.  Her research interests are women's health, the epidemiology of obesity and weight management and psicossocial variables, such body image satisfaction.
