About the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto:
The Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto – ISPUP – is devoted to create and disseminate high quality information and competitive knowledge in the broad field of public health. ISPUP promotes solid interaction among experienced researchers from complementary scientific fields and actively stimulates networking among relevant regional, national and international institutions with a dynamic exchange of clinical and population-based scientific information.
Academic and professional requirements:
- Doctoral (PhD) Degree in Biology
- Sound Publication Record Track
- To write and to speak English fluently
- Experience in researching on longitudinal studies and in particular cohort studies;
- Experience in collaboration studies between European cohorts.
- Experience in epigenetic studies
The fellows will integrate the EPIUnit - Epidemiology Research Unit - Institute of Public Health, University of Porto.
The fellow will provide appropriate input in implementation of research and statistical data analysis; will collaborate in the implementation of research projects developed based on the population cohorts and collaboration with other European cohorts.

Duration and Stipend:
The grant will have a duration of 3 months, with an expected starting date in September 2017. Financial aspects are in accordance with the FCT regulations (http://alfa.fct.mctes.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores), which assigns a tax-free stipend of 1495€ per month.

Evaluation criteria and process:
