This course is aimed at students and professionals in the fields of Medicine, Public Health, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, among other health professionals.
We make the link between the clinical component and environmental sampling.
1. Be able to identify symptoms and diseases associated with built environment exposures;
2. Know the legal limits for physical-chemical parameters of indoor air quality (IAQ)
3. Understand how to assess indoor air quality comfort parameters, as well as quantify concentrations of particulate matter, radon, volatile organic compounds, nitrogen dioxide and ozone
4. Be familiar with IAQ measurement reports and know how to identify parameters in non-conformity;
5. Understand how the characteristics of buildings to be assessed and which human behaviors may negatively influence the IAQ;
6. Prepare a risk report based on a built environment assessment (case simulation).
