The goal of this laboratory is to contribute to the co-creation of solutions and the dissemination of examples of sustainable food public policies at a local, national and international level, that can promote healthy environments and the adoption of nutritious and sustainable diets by citizens.

The situations of social vulnerability associated with diet and non-communicable diseases cannot be reversed without intersectoral public interventions that can enable an improvement in citizens’ skills and their ability to choose healthier food options, through modifications at an environmental level.

Thus, from the national and international experience of the team that integrates the lab, the group will draw lessons and useful examples on how public policies can be created and used to respond to the aforementioned challenges.
