Ana Rita Luís

Nutritionist (4495N), graduated in Nutrition Sciences from the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto (FCNAUP) in 2019.

She was an intern at the National Programme for the Promotion of Healthy Eating of the Directorate-General of Health (DGS), where she participated in the development of the Hospital Diets Manual. She also interned as a Clinical Nutritionist at Dragon Force FC Porto, where she had the opportunity to study the dietary pattern of young athletes.

She taught curricular units such as Anatomy and Physiology at the Training School of Health Technicians of Luanda.
Since 2021, she collaborates with FCNAUP in the FRESAN programme – Strengthening Resilience, Food and Nutrition Security in Angola, funded by the European Union, and integrates the ITR Lab named Food, consumption and sustainability.

Areas of interest: assessment of food and nutritional intake, food quantification and calculation of the nutritional value of recipes.
