Catarina Tojal is graduated in Psychology from the Universisity of Trás-os-Monte and Alto Douro (2007). In 2011, she completed a Master´s Degree in Clinical Psychology at the same university. During 2013-2016, she was a research fellow within the project “Contributions of parent-infant psychophysiology during dyadic interactions to child development” (Bial Foundation, Ref. 175/12).
She is now a PhD student at the Doctoral Programme in Global Public Health, with a grant from the Foundation for Science and Tecnology (PD/BD/128010/2016).
Her main research of interests are preterm births, perinatal and pediatric epidemiology, child development and mental health.
