Cátia Ferreira graduated in Sociology in 2010 from the Faculty of Letters, University of Porto, and completed her Master degree in Sociology in 2013 at the same institution.
She joined the Public Health Institute of the University of Porto in 2010, as part of the activities of the Generation 21 project, holding an administrative position for 3 years.
Later, she had a technical research grant in the project “Understanding the dynamics of body fat in childhood: the mediating effect of eating patterns and behaviors” (PTDC/SAU-EPI/121532/2010).
She currently coordinates field work on the Generation 21 project.
