Cristina Lopes is a native and resident of Porto. Since 1999, she has been teaching as an Assistant Professor of Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) and at the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto (FCNAUP).
She has a PhD in the area of immunoallergic diseases, namely atopic dermatitis: immunological and clinical aspects.
She is a member of the ITR Laboratory “Epidemiology of Allergic Diseases”.
Cristina Lopes is a Medical Immunoallergist, coordinator of the Immunoallergy Unit of the Pedro Hispano Hospital, in Matosinhos, since 2009, while also integrating the Immunoallergy Unit of the Hospital Luz Arrábida.
She is the coordinator of the Cutaneous Allergy Working Group of the Portuguese Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology since 2017 and a member of the Scientific Council of ADERMAP since its foundation.
