Marta Costa has a degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of University of Porto and is currently attending the 1st year of Master’s Degree in Sociology in the field of Social Structures and Dynamics. At the present moment, she’s a research fellow at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto (ISPUP), under the project “FOREST FM – Youth engagement in wildfire preparedness through participatory radio” (PCIF/AGT/0087/2019). Integrates, in the present project, the IRT Health Communication Research Laboratory in Research Line L3 – Genetic, environmental and behavioral determinants of health and disease. She’s a member since 2020 of the project “A sociological look at the world: debates in secondary schools” promoted by the Portuguese Sociological Association. Her areas of interest are particularly on issues related to health, disease and organizational communication.
