Patrícia Barradas (Barradas PF) holds a bachelor in Veterinary Medicine, a MSc in Cellular and Molecular Biology (2006) and a PhD in Veterinary Sciences (2020). She is taking up residence in microbiology in the European College of Veterinary Microbiology. She is a Pos-doc in the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar-UP.
Since 2017 she has been involved in several projects related to infectious diseases epidemiology. Her research interests are focused particularly on human and animal infectious diseases, particularly on zoonotic agents, with special emphasis on surveillance and epidemiological tools, as well with infection control. She is the author and co-author of several research papers.
