Ruben Turé

Ruben Turé was born in Bissau. He completed his degree in Medicine at Beihua University, in PR of China (2018) and his master’s degree in Public Health (2021) at the Faculty of Medicine University of Porto with a public defense of the thesis “Prevalence, awareness, treatment and control of hypertension in Bissau”.

Currently, he is a PhD student in Public Health (Faculty of Medicine University of Porto). His PhD project is focused on preeclampsia as an early predictor for cardiovascular impairment.

He integrates the Research Lab on Cancer Epidemiology of the ITR.
