The latest developments in the field of single cell biology and artificial intelligence have allowed us to better understand the biology of tissues and systems in health and disease. Now it is the time to harness this power to characterise infection at the cellular level to identify novel biomarkers for early diagnosis and treatment response.

UNITE4TB aims to set a new standard for anti-TB regimen development, by upgrading current clinical trial methodology and enhancing the efficiency with which new regimes are delivered. “TB-Machine learning and artificial intelligence as allies in clinical decision ” is the fifth webinar of a series from the UNITE4TB project, where the speaker – Dr. Fabian Theis of the Helmholtz Munich , will provide an open space for discussion the field of single cell biology and artificial intelligence in TB, whilst providing space for reflection on the current evidence gap, as well as the future possibilities in this field.

This Expert Interview will be divided into 2 parts: first the presentation by the speaker; followed by a discussion moderated by Prof. Dr. Raquel Duarte and Prof. Dr. Cristoph Lange.
