PhD in Global Public Health, Master in Clinical and Health Psychology, she is currently a post-doc researcher in the HIneC Project: When do health inequalities start? Understanding the impact of childhood social adversity on health trajectories from birth to early adolescence (POCI-01-0145-FEDER—029567).


She is a member of the Department of Health and Society and the research group on Social Epidemiology at Institute of Public Health of University of Porto (ISPUP).


She was a FCT PhD fellow with the mixed methods project “Quality of life in parents of very preterm infants: insights from family integrated care”.


Her areas of interest are Quality of Life, Social Adversities, Family Integrated Care, Public Participation in Health Governance.
