On January 26th, at 2:00 pm, we will have a seminar at ISPUP Auditorium, entitled “The effect of extending parental leave on women’s health”. This seminar will be presented by Emilie Courtin, Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Short bio:
Emilie Courtin is Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research combines social epidemiology and social policy to assess how non-medical policies influence health, disease and health care use. Emilie has a PhD from the Department of Social Policy at the LSE. She was previously a David E. Bell Fellow at Harvard University and Assistant Professor in Social Epidemiology and Public Policy and LSHTM, supported by a MRC Skills Development Fellowship. She currently leads a Starting Grant from the European Research Council (UKRI guarantee) on the effect of early life interventions on biological ageing.
