The Instituto de Saúde Pública da Universidade do Porto (ISPUP) completed its 15 years of existence on July 14th. The anniversary was celebrated between July 12th and 15th, with a set of activities including an exhibition, two webinars and a session at the Salão Nobre da Reitoria da Universidade do Porto.

July 12th | Inauguration of the exhibition “Excursão Catedrática à Neblina Rosa”

July 13th | Webinar “The tools to act: training the new Public Health workforce”.
This webinar, moderated by ISPUP researcher Teresa Leão, focused on public health professionals. The video of the session can be viewed HERE.
July 14th | Session “Local Government and Public Health”
The session, moderated by Henrique Barros, President of ISPUP, counted with the interventions of the Mayors of Porto, Gondomar, Valongo, Matosinhos and Maia, and one of the Town Councillors of Vila Nova de Gaia, Elísio Pinto. See it HERE.
July 15th | Webinar “One emerging disease, many stories – readings from the Diaries of a Pandemic”
This webinar, moderated by PÚBLICO newspaper deputy director Amílcar Correia, focused on the study “Diaries of a Pandemic”, a collaborative initiative between ISPUP, INESC TEC and the newspaper PÚBLICO. See it HERE.
