ISPUP coordinates the associated Laboratory for Integrative and Translational Research in Population Health (ITR), financed by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) (Refª LA/P/0064/2020), of which the following research and development (R&D) units are part:
This associated laboratory is born from the convergence of these three R&D units, which embrace the mission to integrate public health research, based on the multidisciplinary and complementary valences of each research unit. See the ITR statutes.
ITR is organised into four lines of research, which include 47 laboratories that collaborate with each other for integrated and multidisciplinary research. 31 laboratories have researchers who are part of ISPUP’s EPIUnit.
