Next week, ISPUP will be hosting three researchers from the University of Białystok, Poland.
Taking advantage of their visit, on April 10th (Thursday), from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, Karol Kamiński will present the seminar “Białystok PLUS – challenges and opportunities in general population-based cohort studies.”
This seminar will also feature the following complementary presentations:
– “From data to action – making cohort study results more useful through public health intelligence and participatory tools”, by Paweł Sowa
– “Intersecting pathways: social indicators and health behavior in studies complementary to Białystok PLUS”, by Łukasz Kiszkiel
This will be an excellent opportunity for researchers and students to learn about this Polish cohort, opening doors for potential international collaborations.
The invited researchers will also share some information about the new Summer School organized by the University of Białystok.
After the seminar, there will be time for an informal discussion on shared research interests.
We hope to see you there!
