Ana Moura is currently a PhD student in Education Sciences at Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP), with a grant from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (DFA/BD/7312/2020). In 2018, she finished a Master in Health Education at Faculty of Medicine and at FPCEUP and has a BSc in Education Sciences, since 2016, from FPCEUP.
She was a research fellow in the project “CARESS – Psychosocial health of carers of stroke survivors: Experiences, needs, and quality of life” (POCI-01-0145-FEDER-031898) and is currently member of the laboratory “Socioethical Issues In Reproductive Technologies” of the Laboratory for Integrative and Translational Research in Population Health, and of the “CoPIn – Participação, Comunidades e Educação Política” of the Centre for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE), FPCEUP.
Using a comprehensive approach and mixed methods designs the research interests focus on health education and adaptation and learning processes in chronic diseases, aiming to promote social and educational changes with impact on health promotion, human rights and inclusive citizenship. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and abstracts in conference proceedings and has presented oral communications and posters.
