Carolina Abreu Gomes holds a Master’s degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (2021).
In 2023, she began her Medical Internship in Public Health, being assigned to the Public Health Unit of the Matosinhos Local Health Unit.
In 2024, she successfully completed a Specialization Course in Public Health at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto. Since 2025, she has been collaborating with the Health and Territory Laboratory of the Epidemiology Research Unit (EPIUnit).
