João Pedro Ramos completed his Master’s Degree in Psychology (Deviant Behavior and Justice), from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, in 2018. Throughout his academic career, he joined the Center for Deviant Behavior Sciences where he collaborated in the development of studies in different areas of knowledge, including a Delphi to determine the Local Health Plan of Espinho/Gaia Local Public Health Unit, and the adaptation of a prostate cancer screening tool. Collaborations with other researchers allowed the development of specific skills inherent to the development of several synthesis studies. Currently, he is a research collaborator at ISPUP, within the scope of UNITE4TB, belonging to the WP11 responsible for the implementation, dissemination and communication. His main areas of research interest include socio-economic determinants of social phenomena, chemsex, infodemiology and infosurveillance. Furthermore, he believes that his interest in research cannot be reduced to some areas of scientific knowledge, making sure that his professional and academic career serve, cumulatively, for the development of his own knowledge and subsequent scientific innovation. Among his publications are 1 synthesis study, 2 recommendation guides in a European project and other articles co-authored with other professionals.
