Mariana Mendes graduated in Nursing in 2014 from Nursing School of Oporto and completed the Postgraduate Specialization in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing in 2018, by the same institution.
She joined the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto in 2015 within the scope of the Generation 21 project with a Research Technician Scholarship (BTI).
She is part of the Laboratory “Studies on Hazardous Medicinal Products” and, since June 2022, she has been a member of the Occupational Health Unit at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto, working as an Occupational Health Nurse, where she is currently based.
