Olga Vitor was born in October 1991 in Porto. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (2017). In the research project developed as part of the master’s thesis by FPCEUP, entitled “The invisible face of care provision: The trajectories of informal post-caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease”, sought to give visibility to Alzheimer’s disease, the role and the relevance of informal caregivers and in particular their experiences after the death of the care recipient.
She completed her Master’s degree in Health Care Economics and Management at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto in 2022. As part of her master’s thesis at FEP, she developed a case study on absenteeism in a hospital context in collaboration with the Centro Hospitalar de Entre o Douro e Vouga.
Her professional career has been built in the health sector, having worked at ACeS Grande Porto I – Santo Tirso / Trofa and in the home care area.
Currently, she works at ISPUP as a Senior Technician within the scope of Health Planning – Design and Monitoring activities, contributing to the preparation of the Municipal Health Plans for the municipalities of Porto, Maia, Gondomar and Valongo.
