Rita Pereira has a degree in Nutrition Sciences from the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto (FCNAUP), since 2020, and became a Master in Public Health from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) in 2023.
In 2021, she completed a professional internship at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto (ISPUP) in the areas of Community Nutrition and Research in Nutrition and Public Health. Since then, she has been part of the Lab ‘Eating behaviors and childhood obesity’ where she has the opportunity to explore her main research interests – eating behaviors related to appetite and eating disorders.
At the moment, she is also part of the EUCAN-Connect project, where she is working with the Generation XXI cohort.
