Ana Rita Marinho graduated in Nutritional Sciences at the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences, University of Porto. She has a Master’s degree in Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto (FMUP). From 2017-2019, she developed research work in the project HEALS – Health and Environment-wide Associations based on Large Population Surveys (HEALTH-F3-2010-265448).
Currently, she is a PhD student in Public Health (FMUP) with an individual doctoral grant (FCT). Her main research interests are related to the influence of dietary habits on physical and cognitive development throughout childhood.
She is a member of the research lab on Nutrition and Cardiometabolic Health at ITR (Laboratory for Integrative and Translational Research in Population Health), coordinated by Professor Carla Lopes (PhD).
