Ana Isabel Ribeiro, researcher and coordinator of the Laboratory Health and Territory, has been selected by Public Health Reviews to serve as Co-Editor-in-Chief, a position she will hold for the next six years. Ana Isabel Ribeiro succeeds Raquel Lucas, researcher at ISPUP and member of the Board of Directors, who held the same position since 2019.
As co-editor-in-chief of the scientific journal, the researcher will be responsible for overseeing the editorial process and ensuring the quality and integrity of the publications. Additionally, she will be responsible for the pre-selection of submitted articles, defining the editorial guidelines and the journal’s strategic plan, as well as planning and launching special issues. The researcher will also represent the journal at academic events and collaborations.
Public Health Reviews is an independent scientific journal owned by the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+), a non-profit independent organization. It is internationally recognized for its rigor and independence, has an Impact Factor of 3.5, and ranks in Quartile 1 in the ” Public, Environmental and Occupational Health” subject category.
