Master’s degree in Medicine from the University of Minho and Legal Medicine from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar. She is currently working as a General Practitioner at Clínica de Gondomar, having previously completed her medical residency at the Santa Maria Family Health Unit, part of the Northern Regional Health Administration. She is also pursuing a PhD in Medical Sciences at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar, under the supervision of Dr. Mariana Pinto da Costa and Professor Cláudia Freitas, with whom she collaborates at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto.
Her primary research interest focuses on domestic violence, a topic on which she has already published several works.
