Adriana Fogel

Adriana Fogel is a Digital Media Ph.D. student at the University of Porto, Portugal. She has a Master’s degree in education from UNIRIO and a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences from UFRJ (RJ, Brazil).

Her main interests encompass media literacy, food literacy, health technology, and serious games.

She integrates the Health Communication Lab’s team – ITR and took part as a research assistant at the project PLATE (Promoting food literacy through technology).

Currently, she develops her thesis under a Ph.D. Studentship by FCT with the project entitled Food Wide Web, a digital media food literacy program addressed to teenagers.
