Edgar Mesquita is a psychologist, specialist in Clinical Psychology and Early Intervention.
He graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, FPCE-UP (2007), an institution where he also obtained a master’s degree in 2009. In 2011 he completed the Post-Graduate Program in Management of Social Organizations at Lusíada University and in 2014 the Master’s degree in Statistics at the University of Minho. He attends the PhD program in Public Health (ISPUP-FMUP) aiming the study of social and biological risk factors for cognitive outcomes in children aged 9-14 years of Generation XXI cohort.
He is Director of Services and Technical Director at a Disability Support Centre since 2012, and works as psychologist at Local Intervention Team of Santo Tirso/Trofa since 2013.
