Using the Generation21 cohort, we investigate the impact of early-life adversity on pace of epigenetic aging into early adolescence. It examines how psychological adjustment mediates this relationship, aiming to guide public policies and early intervention strategies. With experts on public health, biology, genomics, and psychology, this project promises advancements in understanding the long-term effects of childhood adversity.
