The Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto, in collaboration with the Portuguese Society of Pulmonology, organizes the theoretical-practical course on the theme “Tuberculosis”.
Obs.:Friday (9.00 am-5.00 pm); Saturdays (9.00 am-1.00 pm), in a total of 4 sessions.
- Apply epidemiology concepts in clinical practice;
- Use the diagnostic tools in the study of a patient with suspected tuberculosis;
- Use the available drugs in the treatment of tuberculosis, as well as address the comorbidities and adverse effects;
- Understand the principles of the approach to multidrug-resistant tuberculosis;
- Understand how to screen populations at risk;
- Know how to address an outbreak of tuberculosis and understand the dynamics of transmission of tuberculosis in a community.
