The Public Health Institute of the University of Porto within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and the approved application “Platform For a Global Health – Qualification of Human Health Resources”, coordinated by the Polytechnic Institute of Health of the North in the context of the WARNING N.º 01/PRR/2021 – Youth Impulse Program STEAM and Adult Impulse Program, presents below the advanced course on the topic: The Learning Health System: challenges and opportunities for professionals in healthcare organizations to chart the course
Thrusday, Friday and Saturday - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Course addressed to:
- adults over 23 years old;
- residents in the national territory at the time of the actions of which they are beneficiaries.
Obs.:Free course, but limited to 50 places, which will be occupied in order of registration; It is mandatory to submit a curriculum vitae and certificate of academic qualifications in the health area.
- Identify the attributes of a health system that promotes learning and measures value;
- Organize as a team to generate quality data capable of leveraging learning from experience;
- Contribute to the enrichment of a team through a plan for the development of skills necessary for the provision of healthcare;
- Recognize how research carried out in an organization contributes to learning and improvement.
This course is aimed at professionals working in the healthcare sector. It is particularly relevant for those who are interested in or have roles in managing/coordinating teams and/or in the quality improvement process (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, managers and technicians).
