The Instituto de Saúde Pública da Universidade do Porto (ISPUP) is one of the members of the Doctoral College of Public Health and History of Science in Tordesilhas (CDT), an organization created in 2017, which aims to promote the sharing of knowledge, research and academic collaboration between the institutions that make up the College.
The Doctoral College of Public Health in Tordesilhas is coordinated by the Universidad Miguel Hernández, with the participation of the University of Porto, through ISPUP and the Faculty of Medicine (FMUP), and the University of São Paulo.
It was created within the Tordesillas Group: an academic network, established in 2000, and which includes Universities from Brazil, Portugal and Spain, with the purpose of promoting collaboration between academic institutions from the three countries, in the area of science and technology.
Since its creation, there have been several academic-scientific activities carried out by the College, as a result of cooperation between the institutions, namely, seminars, postgraduate courses, research projects, and the publication of articles, books or chapters of books.
