Leonardo was also co-author of the paper “Climate Change in Twitter Conversations” (2021), presented at the ClimaEnRedes Seminar, organized by the University of Navarra. His interest for visual discourse, science communication and environment related issues, materialized in the realization of a Dissertation on “The power of image in the communication of Climate Change: a historical-comparative study of visual coverage in the press” (2022). Currently, Leonardo Lopes is a student at the University of Porto and integrates the ITR (ISPUP) through the Health Communication Laboratory, acting as a research fellow in the project “FOREST FM – Involving young people in rural fire prevention through a participatory radio program” (PCIF/AGT/0087/2019).
