Ivo Cruz

Ivo Cruz, born in 1986, completed the Master Degree in Medicine in 2010 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), and concluded in 2017 the specialization in Public Health. Since 2018 he is a Public Health Medical Doctor and Local Health Authority at the Public Health Unit (USP) of the Alto Ave Health Centers Group (ACeS) of the Northern Region Health Administration, PI (ARSN). In 2017, he joined the Doctoral Program in Public Health of FMUP, having completed his Masters in Public Health in 2018. Since 2016 he has been a member of the Epidemiology Research Unit (EPIUnit) of the Institute of Public Health of University of Porto (ISPUP), a research and development project registered with the Foundation for Science and Technology (UID / DTP / 04750/2013). He collaborated as an author in several scientific publications in Internalstional journals, and in publications in oral and poster communications format in the context of scientific meetings. He collaborated in various courses at ISPUP, FMUP and ARSN. He attended several courses and participated in several conferences in the areas of public health, epidemiology, travel medicine, statistics, geographic information systems, data science, systems science, health systems, health economics, auditing and accreditation of health services, among others.
