Maria Brandão finished her degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Aveiro in 2018. She then joined the Master’s program in Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. As part of her master thesis, she worked with Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João to characterize COVID-19 infections among health care workers.
Currently, she is working as a research fellow at ISPUP, integrating the project “STEPACHE: Pediatric Roots of the Expanded Response to Pain: from Contextual Influences to Risk Stratification” (POCI-01-0145-FEDER-029087).
