Ana Pinho has a degree in Nursing Sciences (2021) and is a registered nurse within the portuguese Bar Association of Nurses. She is currently a student of the second academic year of the Master in Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine of the Faculty of Porto, in tandem with ISPUP. She began her professional activity in 2021, working on the field of health promotion and public health, namely in case-management in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as in the context of occupational health. Her main interests for future professional and academic development are related to health inequalities, health policies and health promotion. In addition, she maintaines a keen interest in science communication. Currently, she is part of the project “DATAGov: Citizen participation in health data governance: a people-centered approach to data protection”, with the purpose of promoting the co-production of a model for citizen involvement in health data governance. Ana Pinho integrates the ITR Laboratory of Public Participation in Health within the research line L2 – Syndemics, health inequalities and vulnerable populations.
