Joana Moreira has a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto (2019). She has been working as a community pharmacist since the end of her course, but her biggest dream, despite her enormous love for pharmaceutical care in a community environment, has always been to pursue a career in health research. With that goal in mind, and in order to start this new path, in 2022 she carried out a research internship at the Institute of Research and Innovation in Health of the University of Porto. Currently she is attending the PhD program in Public Health (FMUP-ISPUP) and is involved in projects regarding cancer literacy and, more recently, mental health, in the school community.
