Dagmara Paiva was born in 1982 in Jaworzno, Poland, and lives in Porto since 1983. She graduated in Medicine in 2006 and specialised in Family Medicine in 2011. In 2018 she completed her PhD in Public Health at the University of Porto Medical School, with the project “Lost in translation: health literacy in type 2 diabetes mellitus care”.
